  1.     INTRODUCTION

  3. This program is an opening library, which consists of over 1000 opening
  4. variations.
  5. This is for reference only, there are no quizzes or questions involved.
  6.  
  7. The openings in this opening library are classified into the following
  8. categories:
  9.        Opengames (starting with e2e4 e7e5)etc.
  10.        Halfopen games (starting with e2e4 then a move other than e7e5.)
  11.        Closed games (starting with a move other than e2e4.)
  12.  
  13. Creating your own opening library:
  14. On a backup copy of this disk, you can modify the existing opening library
  15. ,or create a new one.
  16.  
  17. All openings are stored in the following files:
  18.  
  19. Ope,Lop,Sil,Fre,Car,Pir,Ale
  20. Qgd,Ind,Nim
  21.  
  22. (Note that the name of the file is generally the first 3 letters of the
  23. opening they are storing).
  24.  
  25. All this files are ordinary ASCII files and can be edited with any text
  26. editor.
  27.  
  28. Extra opening variations can be typed in at the end of a file.
