  3. This procedure will ERASE your current version of FAXWORKS and enable
  4. you to reload FAXWORKS with the ESS drivers.  These instructions are for
  5. hardfile drives with volume label of KOATCUS only.  This is for use on the
  6. ThinkPad 701 only.  This is not a new version of FAXWORKS.

  10. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
  11. ------------------
  12. 1. DC power supply.
  13.  
  14. 2. Floppy diskette drive and cable.
  15.  
  16. 3. Two reload diskettes(FWV701-1, FWV701-2) provided by IBM PC Company.

  18.  
  19. RELOAD INSTRUCTIONS
  20. -------------------
  21.  1.  Power on your 701C and exit Windows to a DOS prompt
  22.  2.  Insert diskette FWV701-1 in to drive A
  23.  3.  From the A:>, type in go.bat and press enter.
  24.      Note: Type in a 'Y', when "Delete directory c:\faxworks and all its
  25.            subdirectories?(Y/N)
  26.  3. Restart the computer(CTRL-ALT-DEL).
  27.     Note: Press Enter to answer yes if a Group File Error occurs.
  28.           The message will read: Cannot open program-group file 
  29.       'C:\WINDOWS\FAXWORKS.GRP'.  Do you want
  30.           Program Manager to try to load it in the future.
  31.  4. From the Windows program manager, run the installation program SETUP.EXE
  32.     This can be accomplished by pulling down File, then Run, A:SETUP.EXE.
  33.     This will take you through the FAXWORKS install.   Follow the directions
  34.     given by the program.  The FAXWORKS MESSAGES diskette is FVW701-2.
