  8.   o   OS/2* command files and resource files to change 
  9.       the color schemes to RGB values that have a good 
  10.       appearance on the IBM ThinkPad models with DSTN
  11.       display screens.

  35.   1.0   INSTALLATION

  38.         o  Boot from the OS/2 Installation Disk and insert
  39.            Disk 1 when requested.
  40.           
  41.         o  The "Setup and Installation" screen will appear.
  42.            Press F3 to go to a command prompt.
  43.  
  44.         o  Remove Disk 1 and insert Update Disk.
  45.  
  46.         o  Type "update.cmd a: c:" then press Enter.
  47.            (where a: is the source drive and 
  48.             c: is the OS/2 boot drive).
  49.  
  50.         o  Remove the Update Disk and reboot the system.
  51.  
  52.         o  Open an OS/2 window.
  53.  
  54.         o  Insert the Update Disk, type "a:\updpal.cmd", 
  55.            then press Enter.
  56.  
  57.         o  On completion of the updpal command, remove the 
  58.            Update Disk, shutdown and reboot the system.
  59.  
  60.         o  Double click on the OS/2 System icon.
  61.  
  62.         o  Double click on the System Setup icon.
  63.  
  64.         o  Double click on the Scheme Palette icon.
  65.  
  66.         o  Hold down the Alt key and drag the Laptop LCD 
  67.            scheme to the desktop.

  72.         o  If you get the message "SYS1804 - the system cannot
  73.            find the file VIOCALLS" appears during installation
  74.            you are using the diskettes created from the Create
  75.            Utility Diskette object to boot the system.  You 
  76.            must use the Installation Disk/Disk 1 set to boot
  77.            the system.
