  6. lost the files of the game through accidential deletion!Thanks.

  11. hello and Welcome to the read-me file!If you have already looked at the web
  12. site then you may have seen, that in the first page(which is 1.HTM)there are
  13. some bits saying look at the read-me file.If not it doesn`t matter.
  14.  
  15. Some history about the Web Site:
  16. It was started about a year ago when our school got a web-page authoring
  17. program(some of you may know it as Front-Page editor.And I know that I may be
  18. betraying the Amiga but at the time there was nothing like Front-Page on the
  19. Amiga)
  20. Everyone wanted a go at making their own site,including me.
  21.  
  22. In the beginning,it contained only Star Trek News and sounds(yes,I am a
  23. Trekkie or a trekker.I don`t know which is the right term.)then when I got my
  24. Amiga 1200 for my 14th birthday,I began to include some Amiga stuff, such as
  25. little reviews of the software I had got with the Amiga 1200.Slowly and
  26. surely,the PC-owning people started to moan about me covering the Amiga when
  27. there was a "better" machine out on the market.
  28.  
  29. this actually made me mad,and then becuse they conplained so much,I decided
  30. to dedicate the whole site to the Amiga.In turn this made them mad,and so
  31. loads of PC pages turned up.The sad part is that they all had the same
  32. pictures and the same stories!!!!

  34. Now my web site is the best site on our school web because it has varity,and
  35. is well presented.

  37. A bit more about the site....
  38. It has  some news which to you may be dated but it took me a while to come
  39. with the news and reviews so Don`t complain too much!!!!!

  41. What you need to see the web site:
  42. A web page browser and enough RAM to see the pictures.And the workbench
  43. would have to be 256 colours because of the IFF graphics.
  44. .Also You have to look at the cool Netscape
  45. animation in the other news and bits page!(It is a GIF,so you need the
  46.  GIF datatype on your workbench.And maybe an amin datatype.I don`t know.)
  47. I lost the Shadow of the 3rd Moon Page
  48. during file transfer,so I have had to improvise.And edit the whole site
  49. again!!!!So now there is the Other News and bits page!!

  51. I don`t have a lot of knowledge about HTML,apart from the following:
  52. <p>=starts a paragraph.
  53. </p>=ends the paragraph.
  54. <u>=underlines the line(s)
  55. </u>=stops the underlining.
  56. and there is a little more but I don`t have much time before I post this
  57. site to you lot.(I have only begun to try and learn the HTML language so
  58. please bear with me!!

  60. I made the Mainmenu,the Games News and Previews Page and the Shadow of
  61. the 3rd Moon page of the site at school,but I have made extensive changes at
  62.  some of the pages at home on my Amiga(templated)The Games tips page is so far the
  63. the first page that I have succesfully compleated first time
  64. .The pictures links were shot because
  65. of the file transfer of the pages from school,so I
  66. had to modifey those.Ans I transferred most of the pictures to IFF format so
  67. that lesser-equipped Amigas could still view some of the pictures.......

  69. I MUST STRESS THAT THIS IS A CUT DOWN VERSION OF THE SITE. AND IT IS NOT ON
  70. THE INTERNET SO YOU CAN`T VISIT THE FULL WEB SITE UNLESS YOU ATTEND HAWARDEN
  71. HIGH SCHOOL!
