- 1 Apples - chopped - a peck
- 6 lb Beef
- 1 lb Suet - ground
- 3 lb Raisins - seedless
- 2 lb Currants
- 1 lb Citron
- 2 lb Brown sugar
- 1 qt Maple syrup
- 1 qt Cider - boiled
- 1 qt Spiced syrup - from peaches or pears
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- 1 qt Water
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Allspice
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cloves
- 1 tsp Ginger
