- INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

- 3 ea Chocolate - unsweetened - squares
- 1/4 cup Water
- 3 ea Egg yolks
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/8 cup Salt
- 2 Tbsp Flour
- 1 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 ea Egg whites - beaten stiff
- Baked pastry shell
- Whipped cream

- DIRECTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------

- Combine chocolate and water in top of double boiler. Heat until
- chocolate is melted. Bea egg yolks, add sugar, salt and flour. Add
- milk gradually. Combine with chocolate and cook until thick. Cool. Add
- vanilla, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, pour into baked pastry
- shell. Chill until ready to serve. Cover with sweetened, flavored
- whipped cream.
