Blade
Mistress
 |
A
little MMORPG with a big punch. |
Don't be too hard on yourself if you've never heard of this one.
Either had I until recently. And, no, the file size isn't a misprint,
making Blade Mistress the smallest persistent-world MMORPG in history.
But
for a game you've probably never heard of Blade Mistress is a lot
of things. It's a server-centric, ultra-low bandwidth, massively
multiplayer, 3D graphical fantasy role-playing game.
In
a magic world filled with dangerous monsters and fantastic adventure,
the eight Great Spirits watch over a matriarchal human society.
The heroines of the land include warrior Blade Mistresses, magical
Enchantresses, and artistic Craftswomen. All three types of heroine
protect and promote the small human population that exists in this
fearsome and challenging world.
Blade
Mistress currently has PvE combat, trading, crafting, chatting,
character advancement, guilds, totem magic, and ritual magic. It
also has dungeons and guild towers that can be edited by the players
themselves and allows each player to create up to eight characters.
Minimum
System Requirements: PIII 500, 64 MB RAM, DirectX 8.1.

City from drug dealers, cyborg gangs and renegade robots, while
foiling the plans of crime lords, corrupt executives at Omni Consumer

one small step for mankind. |

Your
Own World 2.5
 |
As
good as it gets? Let's hope not. |
"Once
upon a time, a young boy was going home. Once a got up to the door,
he heard screaming. The boy finds out some guy stabbed his mom.
Your mom dies. You are to get your revenge."
Believe
it or not this is the plot, word for word, as supplied by the developer.
Don't ask me who he is, where he comes from, or how he old he is.
I don't know. What I do know is that this game is small enough and
wacky enough that it would have been irresponsible of me not to
have included it here. It most probably never should have been made
either.
Maybe
it is true that video games breed violent thoughts because after
10 mintues of playing this sh*te I personally wanted to track down
and kill the people responsible for bringing this guy into the world.
And
what's even scarier is that this is only the demo!

If only JRR had know what he was doing when he wrote those
