[24fps conversion]-[auto-settings]

This option is available from the [24fps conversion] window.

Use this window to automatically set up the deinterlace mode for 24fps conversion.

Setting Method
One can select what to prioritize during the conversion.

Selection Function
24fps flicker prioritized Convert to 24fps with an emphasis on smoothing the film.
24fps motion prioritized Convert to 24fps with an emphasis on smoothing motion.
24fps non-interlace source Use this to convert a non-interlaced source file to 24fps.
30fps flicker prioritized Convert to 30fps with an emphasis on smoothing the film.
60fps Simple Rearrange the film to be 60fps.
60fps 24/30fps mixed source Smooth the motion of a mixed 24fps/30fps source.

Deinterlace
Set the deinterlace technique if desired. TMPGEnc automatically tries to detect the best technique automatically.

Deinterlace set threshold
If "automatic" is entered for the deinterlace technique, the threshold can be set. This selects the number of lateral lines to consider in the de-interlacing. Normally, this value is set to about 600.

"Start" Button
Click this button to start converting the movie to 24fps using the selected methods.

Enable when encoding
Click this button to convert the frames while encoding. This causes the other settings in the [24fps conversion] window to be ignored.

"Cancel" Button
Close the window and discard any changes.
