[Source Range]

Set the range of frames to encode from the source file.

This filter can be used to remove unwanted sections from a film, such as a commercial.

Scroll Bar
Drag the scroll bar to quickly change file position.

"Set start frame" Button
Click this button to select the currently displayed frame as the starting frame. The encoder will start from the selected frame.

"Move to start frame" Button
Move the to the current start frame.

"Start Frame"
This edit box lets one enter the start frame number. 0 is the lowest possible valid value.

"Set end frame" Button
Click this button to select the currently displayed frame as the ending frame. The encoder will end on the selected frame.

"Move to end frame" Button
Move to the current end frame.

"End Frame"
This edit box lets one enter the frame number to the end frame. A value of -1 sets the end frame to the last frame in the file.

Audio gap correction
This will allow one to set the a compensation time for slippage between audio and video. A negative value moves back, and a positive value moves forward in file time.

One can set this value more easily if the waveform graph is enabled.

"Set start frame" button
Sets currently displayed frame as starting frame to encode/cut.

"Move to Start frame" button
Moves to selected start frame.

"Set end frame" button
Sets currently displayed frame as starting frame to encode/cut.

"Move to End frame" button
Moves to selected end frame.

"Cut editing" button
With this feature, you can cut/clip selected area.



Menu Function
Undo Undoes previous cut operation.
Cut currently selected area Cuts currently selected area which is selected by "Set start frame" button and "Set end frame" button. Strictly speaking, frames selected as start/end frame would be included to be cut.
Cut except currently selected area Clips currently selected area which is selected by "Set start frame" button and "Set end frame" button. Strictly speaking, frames selected as start/end frame would be included to be cliped.
Reset cut editing Discards all changes in cut editing, and goes back to original uncut condition.

Display Audio
Check this box to display a waveform graph for the audio track.

"Defaults" Button
Return all of the values to defaults.

"OK" Button
Close the window and save the new settings.

"Cancel" Button
Close the window and discard any changes.
