Combine an audio and video component into one MPEG movie file.
"Simple Multiplex" combines a video component and an audio component of a MPEG file into one,
combined MPEG file.
-[MPEG Tool]
- Stream Type
- The output stream type is selected from a pull-down menu.
Various MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 stream types are supported.
The [MPEG Settings] window's [System] tab contains various settings for the "System" type stream.
Video Input
- Set which file to use as the video component. The extensions of these files are either .m1v or .m2v.
Click the "Browse" button to bring up a file tree dialog.
Audio Input
- Set which file to use as the audio component. MPEG files of the extension mp1, mp2, mp3, mpa, as well as Dolby-AC3 files (.ac3) are supported. Click the "Browse" button to browse the file tree.
Once both a video and audio component are selected, encoding may begin.
If both the audio and video components have the same name, that name is assigned automatically to the output file.
Output
- Set the output folder and save name for the output file. Click the "Browse" button to browse the file tree.
"Apply" Button
- Click to combine the selected components into a MPEG movie. Additionally, the output file is of the selected stream type.
"Close" Button
- Closes the "MPEG Tool" window and discards the settings.
