For those of you who travel abroad frequently, keeping abreast of
changes in foreign exchange rates is probably a prime concern. This
is where a quick currency converter would be very handy. |
|
National
Geographic has a site called www.nationalgeographic.com
that offers all the information that a traveller (or anyone interested)
could possibly ask for. Besides having Dynamic Maps and Atlases it
has links that take you to sites that offer Currency Converters, Metric
Converters and Weather Reports. The Currency Converter is very user
friendly; you fill in the amount you want to convert, click on lists
that show the currencies of different countries and you have your
converted amount in a jiffy. |

Another
site that offers a currency converter is www.virtualtourist.com.
The converter on this site is simple; it converts currencies in units
of hundred. It also allows you to post travel and related information
by giving you the option of building your Web page on this site free
of cost. |
