Currency Converter
For those of you who travel abroad frequently, keeping abreast of changes in foreign exchange rates is probably a prime concern. This is where a quick currency converter would be very handy.
 
View EnlargeNational Geographic has a site called www.nationalgeographic.com that offers all the information that a traveller (or anyone interested) could possibly ask for. Besides having Dynamic Maps and Atlases it has links that take you to sites that offer Currency Converters, Metric Converters and Weather Reports. The Currency Converter is very user friendly; you fill in the amount you want to convert, click on lists that show the currencies of different countries and you have your converted amount in a jiffy.
 
View EnlargeAnother site that offers a currency converter is www.virtualtourist.com. The converter on this site is simple; it converts currencies in units of hundred. It also allows you to post travel and related information by giving you the option of building your Web page on this site free of cost.
