This command allows you to configure the content model view.

The dialog box opens at the bottom right of the XML Spy window, giving you room to see changes reflected in the content model immediately.

The settings you define here, apply to the schema documentation output as well the printer output.

To define the data to appear in the content model:
1.Click the Append ic_schem_app or Insert ic_schem_insicon to add a line.  
2.Select the parameter you want to display from the combo box.  

The content model view is updated, showing the parameter(s) you selected.

To delete a line/parameter from the content model:

1.Select the line you want to delete.  
2.Click the Delete icon ic_delete.

Single line settings:

You can define if the lines are to contain single or double content, and the parameters to be displayed in each case. You can also define if the line is mandatory or only visible if it contains data.

Please note:  
You can define the single/double setting for each line. Select the line you want to configure and click the single or double content radio button.  

Common line settings
This option toggles the line descriptions on and off.

Widths
These sliders enable you to set the min. and max. size of the element rectangles in the content model view. Change the sizes if parameter text is not fully visible, or you want to standardize your display.

Distances
These sliders let you define the horizontal and vertical distances between various elements on screen.

Show in diagram
The Annotations check box toggles the display of annotation text on or off, as well as the annotation text width with the slider. You can also toggle the display of the substitution groups on or off.

Draw direction
These options define the orientation of the element tree on screen, horizontal or vertical.

The Load/Save button allows you to load and retrieve the settings you make here.
The Predefined button, resets the display configuration to default values.
The Clear all button empties the list box of all entries.

Content model editing
You can change element parameters/values directly in the content model.

·Double click the cell of the element (table) you want to edit and start entering data. If a selection is possible, a drop down list appears if not, enter the parameter or value and confirm the entry with the Return key.  

The entry helpers will be updated at this point, reflecting the data you entered.
