XML Spy supports Microsoft Source-Safe and other compatible repositories.
A source control project is, however, not the same as a XML Spy project. Source control projects are extremely directory dependent, whereas XML Spy projects are logical constructions without direct directory dependence.
The following text uses Microsoft Source-Safe as the Source Control provider.
