Planet Internet was established in 1995 as a subsidiary of leading computer and communications company, Integration Design, to address the growing areas of Internet, World Wide Web and other on-line information services. During the past 4 years the company's main focus has been it's blue chip corporate customer base.

In late 1998 Planet Internet merged with StarNet, a Melbourne based ISP that had been offering internet access and consultancy to the retail and small business markets. The merger has resulted in a company with a broad exposure and experience in all sectors of the ISP business.
