Creating Tables

Using the following parameters, tables can be easily created and manipulated with Splash!.

Tables

    Width

Tables can be of any width within the limits of the page size. For better viewing, this option allows you to change the width of the table.

    Height

As with the width, the height can also be changed to any value. As there is no formal length to a page this can be any height required to fit images or text into the tables.

    Column

This defines the number of columns within a table, it can be used to increase or decrease the amount of columns needed for any selected table.

    Rows

As with columns, this allows the number of rows for any selected table to be changed.

    Border

All tables have borders, this option allows the size of the border to be changed.

    Cell Spacing

This option is used to space the cells themselves, and helps to give the whole table a little more definition.

    Cell Padding

This is similar to the above, except it applies to the cells themselves. The cells are padded out with blank_space (by the amount selected), so that images and text don't look cluttered up.

Border Off

The table border can be turned on or off. A border may help to give the table more definition, though it may not suit the style of your page.

Cell

    Width

As with the table width this allows the cells to have individual widths, great for images of different sizes. This applies to all the cells in a column.

    Height

Same as cell width, allows for the height of cells in each row to have differing heights.

Color

To make your table stand out from the rest of the page, you may choose to have a color applied to the table. You can even specify to have each cell a different colour! You may choose any color you like by using the slider bars, or you can choose a pre-defined color from the selection box.
