Customizing Windows Media Player
You can change the appearance of Microsoft Windows Media Player in many ways. The following list provides you with some ideas for customizing your Windows Media Player:
- Switching between modes. Full mode is the size of Windows Media Player when you first open it. To shrink the size of Windows Media Player, you can switch to compact mode, which saves desktop space so you can use other computer applications. When you switch to compact mode, Windows Media Player maintains the appearance of the selected skin.
- Applying a skin. You can apply a skin to Windows Media Player to create a personalized look. Windows Media Player includes several skins, and you can download additional skins from the Internet.
- Choosing a visualization. You can choose different visualizations to accompany your music or the skin you are using. And you can download additional visualizations from the Internet.
- Adjusting the audio and video settings. Using the Now Playing feature, you can choose between a graphic equalizer, captions, information about the media youÆre listening to, or video setting controls.
