Setting options
You can configure Windows Media Player options according to your preferences. For example, you can specify where to store music files on your computer, change the visualization collection, or select the quality of the audio files you copy from CDs or to your portable device.
To change settings
- In full mode, on the Tools menu, click Options, click the tab that you want, and then change the settings that you want.
-or-
- In compact mode, right-click Windows Media Player, click Options, click the tab that you want, and then change the settings that you want.
Note Several of the settings are for advanced users.
