Playing music from CDs

You can use Windows Media Player to listen to and watch your favorite music. To play a CD, insert it into the CD-ROM drive; playback begins automatically. If you donÆt have Windows Media Player open, it opens to the Now Playing feature, which displays the name of the artist, the title of the track, and a visualization.

Note   Once your CD begins playing, click Now Playing to watch a visualization. You must select the Digital playback check box for the visualizations to work when playing a CD track. To verify that the check box is selected, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the CD Audio tab.
