Getting started

Your product ships with the optimum configuration as determined by our specialists. This makes it possible for any user to protect their computer right after installation without spending a lot of time on the settings. You may change this configuration later on, from the Settings tab.

After completing installation and starting the program, we recommend taking the following steps:

Check the current protection status to make sure that Active Virus Shield is operating on the appropriate level.

Update the program (if the Settings Wizard did not do so automatically after installing the program).

Scan the computer for viruses.
