Virus scan tasks

In addition to the constant protection from malicious programs, it is extremely important to periodically scan your computer for viruses. This is necessary in order to rule out the possibility of spreading malicious programs that have not been discovered earlier.
Three tasks are included in Active Virus Shield for scanning for viruses:
Critical Areas

Scans all critical areas of the computer for viruses. This includes: system memory, programs loaded on startup, boot sectors on the hard drive, and the Windows and system32 system directories. The aim is to quickly detect active viruses in the system without fully scanning the computer.

My Computer

Search for viruses on your computer with a through scan of all disk drives, memory, and files.

Startup Objects

Scans all auto launched programs that are loaded when the operating system boots up. It also scans operating memory and boot disk sectors.

You also have the option of creating other virus search tasks and creating a performance schedule for them. By doing so, you can create your own list of virus search tasks for scanning specific objects. For example, you can create a mail database scan task and schedule it to run once per week.
