You can access this main section in the menu [Options / Options].

Edit the options you want and click on [Apply] to save or [Cancel] to discard. You will be taken to the last recovery wizard step you were running.

This options will only affect the multi-file recovery operations. For quick recovery & advanced recovery naming options go to the menu [Options / Options / General].

In this section you can configure how ExcelFIX names the new files created in multi-file recovery operations.

Output file suffix

This will save the recovered files in the same folder as the original files by adding a configurable preset suffix. This allows you to have the recovered files in the same folder as the original and adjacent to it when ordering the files by name.

Output subfolder name

This will save the recovered files with the same name as the original file but into a subfolder. This allows you to have the recovered files all together in a subfolder with an identical name arrangement as the original.
