Fixes:

1. Select All and Print Preview prints the whole file. 2. Compare tool crashes fixed once and for all! (hopefully). 3. Double clicking the comparison results now jumps to the equivalent byte in editor in all cases. 4. Last offset in print/print preview was wrong. 5. If background disassembling was cancelled, then it would always perform a foreground. 6. Fixed opcodes in disassembler: 00, A1, A3, F6. 7. Script plugin in/out communication problem (Thanx John!). 8. What's new:

1. Edit engine changes: - Seemlessly edit in octal, decimal, binary or hex only! - All actions are supported (undo, find, bookmarks, watches, etc) in all modes. 2. True time algorithm editing is now supported. 3. The undo engine has been fine-tuned. No temporary undo file is created.

Fixes:

1. "Can't open clipboard" bug that crashed Hackman fixed. 2. The Undo engine would not handle correctly the " characters. 3. Search in all monitors works properly now. 4. Save As... command has been fixed.

1. This release is a MAJOR BUG-FIX versions. It silently fixes all known bugs! 2. UNDO mechanism rewritten from scratch. 250% faster. Supports all operations. 3. The VB runtimes have been removed from the installation in order to minimize d/l size. 4. Reverse Find routine added. 5. Fixes:

1. Kernel would not open files over 20MB. 2. Kernel would fail to search over 30MB files. 3. Dasm: Disassembler's help popped up error message if got_focus event was triggered. 4. Dasm: OUT lb,eAX was presented as OUT eAX,lb in 32-bit Dasm. 5. Procecure New File -> Close when repeated twice, caused fatal internal error. 6. Creating more than one new file without closing them caused memory leak. 7. Fixed unexpected crash when initial image is missing. 8. Books Online updated and some content was updated. 9. Hackman kernel treated files as case sensitive thus loading same file twice. 10. Vertical scroll bar reset problem (switching between files). 11. Patch maker was broken since v4.02 and has been fixed. 12. Copy As and Export as functions reported wrong length. 13. Operations outside file length crashed Hackman. 14. Find null byte (00) failed (jumped to an irrelevant instance). 15. Dasm: Find routine behaved incorrently between 32767 and 65536 offsets. 16. Replace action would not work for graphic bytes below 32. 17. Replace All action looped without actually working. 18. Dasm: Overflow error that appeared on several files fixed. 19. Dasm: Print whole file to text was crashing at some occasions.

What's new:

1. Fill dialog box has changed: it's possible to select a range for random numbers now. 2. Updated books online, various corrections were applied. 3. Float numbers 32-bit & 64-bit for Intel or Motorola formats added in Control Panel. 4. FEC 128-bit cryptography algorithm added. 5. Better menu handling when no file in loaded (disabled plugin menus that cannot run). 6. LiveUpdate recognizes valid internet connection and shows the appropriate image. 7. Face lift up for memory consumption dialog box. Units now in Kb instead of bytes.

Fixes:

1. Illegal input in column/space entries under Monitors would crash Hackman. 2. Hackman logo would hide (C) Copyright label in Splash screen. 3. If no recent files were present, there would be a double separator in Files menu. 4. SendTo Hackman command didn't work properly. 5. Watches did not appear at all although they were resident in memory. 6. Jump to Hex offset above H8000 would pop up false error message.

This is a major update. Almost all internal functions and routines were redesigned to support huge files and to run faster. The following what's new list is a summary of all these changes: 1. * We have decided to change the philosophy of the program. Instead of having a huge main kernel, we created a small one with branches, which is now more flexible and resembles a multi-process-platform. 1. 1. Added export selection and copy as support for Visual Basic 5.0. 2. Now, kernel can load up to 10 files at the same time. 3. Hackman may be localized! All you need is a .lng file in your language. 4. Icon menus were removed as they were NT incompatible.

1. A rare numbering bug in our recent files section. 2. Hackman was crashing at start-up on some systems with old OLE - producing an unexpected error 50003 - overflowing (number error 6) - Also, several NT 4.0 compatibility issues were permanently fixed.
