The existing Exhibition of Metallurgy of the NTM is dedicated to the history of iron and describes the development of the production and the processing of this most important metal of human civilization from the oldest age up to the present. It contains around 150 material exhibits and a rich illustration documentation. It provides an overall picture of the production technology and the societal significance of iron throughout all the periods of historical development as well as on the world wide level, as regarding the Czech lands.
The cost for the renovation of the exhibition is estimated at 0.5 mil. Czech crowns.
