A Web browser is a program that lets you interact with other computers on the Internet, or World Wide Web. You use a browser to view Web sites which can contain text, pictures, video, and sound, as well as tools by which you can send information over the Internet such as forms you fill out or buttons you select.

To view a Web site, connect to the Internet through your Internet Service Provider (ISP), start your default Web browser, and you're ready to go. Just type in a Web address (for example, type http://www.microsoft.com to see the Microsoft Web page).

There are many types of browsers available. You automatically receive Microsoft Internet Explorer with Money. You can use other Web browsers, but they must be compatible with Internet Explorer for you to use all of Money's online features.

You can also view Web pages directly from within Money. When you click a link or a button in Money that points to a Web page on the Internet, Money starts an internal Web browser and opens the link so you can look at the Web page right there. Except for manually typing in a Web address, once you connect to the Internet in Money, you can browse the same way you would with an external browser.
