Delete a stock option grant
If you only have one grant in your employee stock option account:
The easiest way to delete the grant is to delete the employee stock option account.
1 On the
navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click
Investments.
2 In Holdings view, highlight the employee stock option account that contains the grant you want to delete.
3 Click Delete on the bottom of the screen.
You'll see a warning that you're about to delete all the transactions in that account. Click Yes to proceed.
If you have multiple grants in your employee stock option account:
You'll need to delete all the grant transactions associated with this grant before you can delete the grant itself.
1 On the
navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click
Investments.
2 Double-click the employee stock option account to open the Account Register.
3 Click the down-arrow
on the view bar, then click
Sort by Investment Name. This groups all the transactions together by grant name.
4 You'll need to delete every transaction for this grant in reverse date order. For example, you'd delete transactions 12/1/99, then 6/1/99, and then 1/1/99.
Right-click the latest transaction for this grant, and then click Delete.
Continue deleting transactions in reverse date order. You might see warnings that a transaction has been reconciled; click OK if asked to confirm deleting it.
5 Finally, right-click the grant transaction, and then click Delete.
6 On the navigation bar, click Investments, and then click Positions View in the left pane.
7 Highlight the grant name, and then click Delete.
