Enter a stock option grant

Money makes it easy to track both the vested and unvested value of your stock options.

Before you begin

If your company stock has split since your original grant, be sure to enter the post-split number of shares and strike prices when setting up the grant.

1 On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Investments.

2 Click New at the bottom of the screen. Click A new investment, and then click Next.

3 Choose Employee Stock Option Grant from the list and then click Next.

Follow the instructions on screen. Money creates grant, vest, and expire transactions for the grant to reflect the grant schedule you enter.

4 To view these transactions, go to the Investment Portfolio and double-click the new investment account containing the option grant.
