When you create a favorite report or chart, Money saves any settings you may have customized, but not the financial data in the report. When you view a report, it contains up-to-date information in the customized format. If the dates have changed, the information may have changed as well.

For example, if you create a favorite report in January that uses ôCurrent Monthö as the date specification, when you view the report in February, the information in it will change to reflect your February transactions. However, if your report or chart uses a custom date range with fixed beginning and ending dates that are both in the past, the information displayed will be the same every time you view it, unless you add or change transactions that fall within the specified time period.
