Mark a transaction as cleared, void, or reconciled
When you mark a transaction as cleared, it generally means that the money has been debited from or credited to your account. This is different than marking a transaction as reconciled, which is when you match the transaction in your Money account with the transaction listed on you bank statement.
When you stop the completion of a transaction without deleting it from your account, the transaction is void. If you enter a stop payment on a check, youÆll want to mark the transaction as void.
1 In the Account Register, right-click the transaction.
Why do my transactions disappear when I clear them?
If you click Unreconciled Transactions on the View menu in the Account Register, your transactions will disappear as soon as you mark them as reconciled or void.
