Create a checking account

The New Account wizard helps you set up all the accounts you'll need for tracking your checking accounts in Money.

1 Make sure you have your most recent statement handy.

2 On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Accounts.

3 At the bottom of the screen, click New Account. The New Account wizard appears.

4 Specify the bank where you have this account and click Next.

5 In the list, click Checking. Then click Next.

6 Follow the instructions on the screen.
