Enter a transaction

1 Go to the Account Register of the account you want to enter a transaction in.

1 On the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Accounts.

2 At the top of the left pane, click the down-arrow

, and then click the account you want.

If you don't see the account you want, look for it under Other Open Accounts or Closed Accounts.

2 In the transaction forms at the bottom of the screen, click Check, Deposit, Transfer, Withdrawal, or Cash Withdrawal.

3 Enter the information in each field, or accept the proposed entry. Press TAB to move between fields. For help on any field, press F1 while in the field. For more information about categories and subcategories, see Entering a category.

4 Click Enter when you are finished filling out the form.

How do I cancel a transaction while IÆm entering it?

To cancel a transaction youÆve started but have not yet entered, click Cancel or press ESC.

Do I have to save my transactions?

When you enter a transaction, it is automatically saved and will appear in the Account Register above the transaction form.

How do I enter a transaction directly into the Account Register?

Are there any shortcuts I can use?
