What happens when I click the Log On button?
Money connects to the Internet and takes you to the logon page of your E-bill providerÆs Web site. Depending on your E-bill provider, as soon as you log on, Money may notify you if there are new E-bills present. Otherwise, you will have to identify new E-bills yourself.
If you are using MoneyÆs internal Web browser (The browser that opens within Money to allow you to view Web pages without having to leave the Money program.) and your E-bill provider supports automatic updates in Money, as soon as you log on, Money notifies you if there are new E-bills present and downloads them automatically. Otherwise, you have to download new E-bill information into Money manually.
What happens when I download new E-bill information?
If you have already matched the new E-bill to a recurring bill (A payment, deposit, transfer, or investment purchase that is set up in Bills & Deposits to occur with a specific frequency. Upcoming instances of this transaction appear in the Pay Bills place.) you have set up in Money, Money updates the next occurrence of the recurring bill with current bill information, and changes the transaction status to Updated. If the bill is already up-to-date, Money makes no changes. If you have not yet matched the E-bill to a recurring bill in Money, Money starts the Set up E-bills wizard to help you complete the process.
Can I check for delivery of a specific E-bill?
Yes. Once you match an E-bill to a bill set up in Money, you can access your E-bill providerÆs Web site by selecting the next occurrence of the bill and clicking the View E-bill button at the bottom of the screen.
Can I check for E-bills using my default Web browser?
Yes, but if you access your E-bill providerÆs Web site through your default Web browser (The stand-alone browser that you normally use to access the Internet.) Money cannot automatically update the details of any recurring bills you have set up.
