Back up my file

1  On the File menu, click Back Up.
2  Click the appropriate option -- to back up to floppy disk or hard drive.

If you back up to your hard drive, you may choose the path and name of the backup file or accept MoneyÆs default.

If you choose to back up to floppy disks, Money will prompt you to let you know how many you will need to complete your backup. Using blank floppy disks is recommended so you'll have adequate space.

3  Before you click Back up now, click Options if you would like to change where backup writes to, or choose to compress the backup.

 Important

Money automatically creates a backup on your hard drive every time you exit or open a different Money file. It will prompt you to back up to floppy disks every 14 days, unless you change your backup options.
