RasSvrmon Syntax
RasSvrmon ûs:servername [ût:time_offset] [ûp:SVCHOST_pid]
Where:
- ûs:servername
- Will start RasSvrmon focused on a remote computer named servername. You can also use the IP address of the remote computer.
- ûs:servername ût:time_offset
- Will start focused on servername, but will reflect the amount of time the remote access server has been running before the monitoring tool was started. This will show up in the servername.webstatus file.
- ûp:SVCHOST_pid
- If you are running RasSvrmon on the remote access server itself, you need to use the ûp switch instead of ûs. Give the process ID of the svchost process that remote access server is running under.
Note
This is not an ideal way to run RasSvrmon. One of RasSvrmon uses is to alert you if the remote access server quits. If the monitor is running on the computer that quits, obviously you will not be alerted.
