AtmArp is a command-line tool that assists network administrators and support personnel in troubleshooting the status of the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Address Resolution Protocol (ARP)/multicast address resolution service (MARS) that ships with Windows 2000. ATM refers to a group of related, standards-based technologies that provide high-speed communication over various media.

Atmarp.exe provides information about Atmarps.sys, the Windows 2000 IP/ATM combined ARP/MARS/multicast server (MCS) server. This service provides the server side connectivity support for an IP/ATM network.
