To set the load-test duration

1. On the Tools menu, click Settings.
   
   
2. On the Duration tab, select the simulation duration.
   • Select Indefinite if you want the load test to run until you stop it. This option is set by default.

     - or -

   • Select Time Interval and enter the length of time you want the load test to run in hours:minutes:seconds (hh:mm:ss).
3. (Optional) Select Stop After and type the number of errors you want Windows Media Load Simulator or Windows NT Performance Counter to record before the load simulator stops the load test. For more information, see To log load-test results.

Note You can select both Indefinite or Time Interval and Stop After. Load-testing ceases when either the load test duration expires or the error limit you specify is reached, whichever occurs first.
