The Edit Known Accounts feature lets you create, edit, or delete Windows NT account-password pairs that SmartScan has cracked or will attempt to crack during a scan session.
The Known Accounts file, described in ToolsOptionsFile Locations, contains a list of the account-password pairs used by SmartScan during a scan over your network.
The account-password pair includes:
an account—a combination of a user and the user’s domain, and
a password—known to be correct for the account (verified) or not known to be correct for the account (unverified).
