Choose how Internet Scanner determines which machines to scan:
Use Host File: Lists all .hst hosts files. Select a host file from the list, and Internet Scanner reads the host IP addresses and discards any hosts outside of the key’s scan range. See New Session Wizard - Select Host File.
Use Command Line Facility: Enter a range of IP addresses directly. See Enter Hosts.
Ping all valid hosts in your key range: Pings the scan range to find all active hosts. You may also choose to ping a subset of your scan range. Hosts found by pinging can be saved to a hosts file for later use. See File Menu Commands. Important: This option is available only if your key uses IP address restrictions.
