What is Ghardeno ?

Ghardeno is a "tasks/shopping/misc." list organizer for your Palm, which aims to replace (or complete) the built-in "To Do" application. Its approach to list management is quite different from other similar software. Basically, the idea is that it is easier to directly manipulate things than to tag them with abstract properties (such as priority numbers).

Like in the built-in "To Do" application, Ghardeno can help you to keep track of one or more lists of items (i.e. things to do, things to buy, the main ideas of your next research paper...). There is several difference, though:

• you don't have to assign a priority: instead, you can manually sort the items with drag'n'drop;
• each item can be displayed in normal, bold or large font;
• instead of tapping a check-box to indicate an item is "completed", you stroke it directly on screen with the stylus; it is then displayed crossed with a line (it's easier to make the difference between completed and not completed items).
