The Series 3c enables you to record and play back speech or music or, using the extensive edit functions, play back any or all of the recording starting from any point in the sample.

You can play a sample backwards, or alter the speed of the playback, or use a facility which acts as a 'voice changer' on vocal recordings. In addition, any recording you make can be used as an 'alarm sound'.
