How to enable / disable Kaspersky Anti-Virus
Immediately after your operating system startup, Kaspersky Anti-Virus will virus scan all objects executed at system startup, computer memory and its own application modules.After this, real-time protection of your computer will be automatically enabled which will be indicated by a red icon in the system tray.
- right-click the icon in the system tray;
- when the shortcut menu appears, select Disable Real-Time Protection.
Real-time protection of your computer will be then disabled and the active icon (red) will turn inactive (gray).
- Follow the Additional Settings link in the left section of the Settings tab.
- In the window that will open, uncheck the Launch Kaspersky Anti-Virus at the system startup box.
We strongly recommend that you do not disable Kaspersky Anti-Virus as it may result in your computer becoming infected.
In order to enable Kaspersky Anti-Virus:press Start, select Programs, and in the list of programs that will open find the group Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal and within this group choose the entry Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal.
