Understanding Safe Color Warnings
If you select the Warn option for one or more of the types of safe limit, the system displays warnings in the monitors when material exceeds the limits you have set. Warnings appear in the Color Match control for RGB Gamut limits only.
You select the Warn option using the Actions button as described in Setting Safe Color Limits.
Warning indicators do not appear unless color levels exceed at least one of the limits currently set to Warn.
When your system displays safe color warnings, you have the following options:
Leave your color correction adjustments at the current settings.
In this case, your program will continue to exceed some or all of the safe color levels you have set.
Make manual color correction adjustments to bring levels within limits. For more information, see Making Adjustments to Achieve Safe Color Values.
When all levels are within limits, the warning indicators no longer appear.
