Real-time playback capabilities are different depending on whether you have an Avid Mojo DNA connected to your system.
Depending on the capabilities of your system and the nature and complexity of the material you want to output, you might have to render some effects. Use the Expert Render command to determine which effects need to be rendered. You can also use the Video Effects Safe Mode button on the Digital Cut tool to check whether effects need to be rendered before you perform the digital cut. If you do not have an Avid Mojo DNA attached to your system, you must render all effects before you perform a digital cut. The Video Effects Safe Mode button is not available on software-only systems, but the system automatically warns you if you attempt to perform a digital cut with unrendered effects.
