Shuttling with J-K-L Keys
To shuttle through the footage using the J-K-L keys on the keyboard:
1.  Load a clip into the Source pop-up monitor or a sequence into the Composer monitor.
2.  Use the J-K-L keys to shuttle at varying speeds:
  Press the L key to move forward through the footage at normal speed. You can increase the speed according to the following table:

  Press the J key to move backward at the same shuttle speed increments.
  Press the K and L keys together for slow forward (8 fps for NTSC, 6 fps for PAL, and 6 fps for 24p projects).
  Press the K and J keys together for slow backward.
  Press the K key and tap the L key or the J key to step through footage one frame at a time.
  Audio plays back at up to 3x normal speed.
To pause the shuttling:
  Press the K key.
To stop shuttling:
  Press the space bar.
