Using the Console Window to Check Audio Levels
Once you have played back audio through the Audio tool, you can use the Console window to view a list of precise information about the peak levels.
Reset Peak button
To check peak levels in the Console window:
1.  Select Tools > Audio Tool.
The Audio tool opens.
2.  Click the Reset Peak button to clear the system's record of the most recent maximum peaks.
3.  Play a sequence or portion of the sequence.
4.  After playing back the audio, open the Console window by selecting Tools > Console.
5.  In the Console command line, type DumpMaxPeaks.
6.  Press Enter (Windows) or Return (Macintosh).
A list of peak values appears in the Console window.
