When I reply to email the message information is not retained.
I'm using Quoted Reply Form.
When I select autoforward, 'forward to' addresses are ignored and
the message is forwarded back to the original address.
Will ExLife support Boolean arguments in the "value"
line? (AND, OR, NOT)?
Does the autoreply action allow you to send an attachment?
Can I put multiple values on the value line or must it be
"one filter = one value"?
Where does ExLife store the option for filtering, etc. (all that
you set)?
What does Virtual Folder mean?
I've just installed 1.13 version and all Unread Messages Folders
disappeared? What's happen?
Does ExLife co-operate with ExSign advanced signature?
This problem can appear when you are using another transport service than SMTP (or from
1.13c version cc:Mail). I only tested ExLife with with these transport services.
The error is: The new recipient isn't set and the from header line doesn't contain sender
address. As I mentioned above I was noticed that this problem is with CompuServe and
cc:Mail transport services.
Because I've got from one user a small personal folder file which contains cc:Mail emails
I was able to correct quoted reply form behaviour for cc:Mail.
If you have this problem with your transport service send me a small personal folder file
(*.pst) with several emails and I'll solve your problem in a few days.
I think that when I learnt ExLife to cooperate with cc:Mail transport service I learnt it
to cooperate with many others.
This error sometimes appears. It has connection with your PC configuration and software
you have installed. I know it sounds a little bit strange but it's not my conclusion. Some
people who mentioned this problem said that when they installed ExLife on another PC
everything worked correctly.
I tried to find some workaround and I think that I was successful. The result you can find
in ExLife from version 1.13b. Many thanks to everybody who helps me with it.
If the problem appears again please export your ExLife rules and send them to me with
information which version of ExLife you are using. It really helps me to improve my
workaround.
Yes, from version 1.13. You can use And, Or, Not Boolean operators and also you can use
brackets to set-up Boolean expression in filter rule or virtual folder rule. All what you
have to do is to choose advanced interface
when you are going to put the rule.
Yes, you can enclose attachments
to your autoreply message from version 1.13.
You can use Boolean expression to
put multiple values to one filter rule. Boolean expression appeared first time in 1.13
version.
The options are stored somewhere in the windows registry. If you want to backup all
information or copy it to another PC you can use Import/Export
function.
It is a special searched folder for displaying emails which hit to set-up condition.
The emails are only shown there. They are stored in this folder. For example you can set
up folders to show: Unread Messages, Messages with Attachments, Faxes, Messages from local
network, ...
This possibility was removed. Instead of you can use Virtual
Folders to set up Unread Messages Folder. Go to ExLife options where
choose Virtual Folders property sheet. Create new folder which can be called Unread
Messages. Now you have to set up a condition for this folder: IsUnread == True.
Yes. If ExSign is installed ExLife will use ExSign's advanced signature instead of
ExLife's built one.
