Vegetation Terrains
Vegetation terrains are used to place precise areas of vegetation onto the landscape. They are typically used to add hedges or areas of woodland with precise boundaries.

Vegetation terrains are mapped onto a landscape surface as a series of polygons or lines. There is no limit on the number of polygons or lines for each terrain. Using the GIS plugins terrain data can be imported into GenesisII from GIS packages such as MapInfo and ArcView.

Vegetation terrains can be combined with ecology terrains - which they always override. Vegetation terrains also allow the surface color and texture to be modified using the same parameters as described for surface terrains.

Vegetation

Up to four plants may be defined and mixed for each terrain. The following parameters are set individually for each.
