6: The Actual Texture Map

Now we gonna give a form to that orange ball by adding a Marble texture.
 
Goto the Texture   Button.
Then goto the   Button, click on it.
And chose ADD NEW again, like we did by the material settings.

These are the texture maps and there settings..
Then click on the button that saids `Marble'
On your left you see the Marble texure in the square view..
on the right of the Square view you see 8 buttons, which the top button has
the name called `Tex'.

Thats the texture name of the texture.
Its activated so we can see which Texture where working on.

On the right of those buttons there are 3 buttons.. called
NoiseSize,NoiseDepth,Turbulence

Well just play with those buttons to find out what they do ;)..

I used these settings..

NoiseSize : 0.500
NoiseDepth: 6
Turbulence: 15.00

Well.. the rest we leave as it is..
