Checking Shortcuts

A profile (or template) can include a list of shortcuts (.lnk files) to check. For example, you can set up a profile to check that a shortcut exists and that it points to the correct target.

For each shortcut listed in the profile, an audit report includes shortcut properties such as the shortcut's target, arguments, and working directory.

To add shortcuts to a profile

• In the Shortcut Files dialog box, click Add and then select shortcut files from any of the folders on your desktop. You can also type the name of a shorcut file in the File Name box.
