Checking ActiveX Controls

A profile (or template) can include a list of ActiveX controls (.ocx or .dll files) to check. For example, you can set up a profile to check that a DLL is registered correctly.

For each ActiveX control listed in the profile, an audit report includes the CLSID, InProcServer32, and ProgId values found in the registry, as well as the name and location of the file.

To add ActiveX controls to a profile

• In the ActiveX Controls dialog box, click Add and then select .dll or .ocx files from any of the folders on your desktop. You can also type the name of a file in the File Name box.

	Using Macros
