PCT-EASY Version 2.83
Multi-language production release incorporating March 1999 PCT updates. For use with Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish language filings and with participating receiving Offices only. Windows 95/98/NT compatible. Please read some important instructions concerning the use of PCT-EASY: User letter (in PDF format) (Users of EP-EASY see paragraph 12 of this letter for important information before installing PCT-EASY.)

Version 2.83 adds the PCT designations of United Arab Emirates (as from 10 March 1999) and South Africa (as from 16 March 1999), adds German language on-line help, corrects some minor bugs reported by users and improves installation functionality.
PCT-EASY Update Patch
Update version 2.80 or 2.82 to the current version. Includes the PCT designations of United Arab Emirates (as from March 10, 1999) and South Africa (as from March 16, 1999), corrects several bugs, and adds German language on-line help.

Instructions: Download and copy the patch file(s) to your local drive where PCT-EASY is installed. Befort upgrading, make sure that any pending applications found in the EASY Central, Outbox directory have been copied to diskette and close EASY. Run the "Patch283.exe" file. Accept any changes and overwrite existing fee schedules as prompted. New designations will only be visible in PCT-EASY as from their start dates. User templates can be modified to include such designations at that time.
